What Therapy With Me Is Like
I am an integrative therapist offering relational, trauma-informed psychotherapy for adults who are ready to explore their story, understand what may be keeping them stuck, and move forward with greater clarity and choice.
My style is warm, empathic, and gently challenging. I aim to support you in developing and using your own inner resources to manage the difficulties that have brought you to therapy, while also working collaboratively to explore any underlying patterns or roles you may find yourself repeating, which could be getting in the way of living a richer, more fulfilling life.
This work goes beyond conversation alone. As an integrative therapist, I aim to promote healing and facilitate wholeness by ensuring that all levels of a person’s being and functioning (mental, physical and emotional health) are maximised to their full potential. This means I pay attention to your full experience: thoughts, emotions, body responses, and the deeper patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and others. You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy; what matters most is your willingness to show up, reflect, and explore.

The therapeutic relationship
My practice is grounded in the belief that the therapeutic relationship — the relationship between you and me — is the most powerful agent of change. Research consistently shows that the quality of this relationship — often described as the experience of “feeling felt” — is the strongest predictor of meaningful and lasting change.
At the core of every human being is the need to be seen, heard, and loved. When these needs are met within an attuned therapeutic relationship, your nervous system can begin to settle, allowing deeper parts of yourself to gently emerge.
In this space, therapy becomes not just a place for support but also for growth. I’ll walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and presence, while also gently challenging you to be honest with yourself and open to what may need to shift in order for something new to emerge.

Your Inner Healer
I believe that each of us has the innate capacity to heal. As humans, we are all born into a state of wholeness, worthiness, and inner knowing — with our own unique essence. Over time, conditioning, expectations, relational injuries, and early adaptations begin to form layers around us, much like the layers of an onion. These layers help us survive, but they can also distance us from our deeper self and lead us to look outside of ourselves for answers, approval, or healing.
Therapy is not about outsourcing your healing to an expert, but about working together in a way that helps you reconnect with your own clarity, resilience, and inner guidance. My role is to walk alongside you — offering reflection, presence, and support — as you gently begin to peel back the layers that no longer serve you.
In the beginning, this often feels like a concept rather than a lived reality. But as we build conscious awareness, develop emotional understanding, and cultivate your capacity for choice, the process moves from insight into embodiment. You begin to experience for yourself that meaningful change comes not from someone telling you what to do, but from learning to trust your own truth, needs, and instincts.
